#### Overview

University College London (UCL) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer (Teaching) in Software Systems Engineering to join their Department of Computer Science. This role is focused on delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to the academic environment of the department.


#### Job Details

- **Salary:** The position offers a salary range of £51,474 to £60,521 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

- **Contract:** This is a fixed-term contract, offering a hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility between on-campus and remote work.

- **Role Focus:** The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing courses in software systems engineering, mentoring students, and participating in curriculum development.


#### Requirements

- **Qualifications:** A PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field.

- **Experience:**

  - Proven experience in teaching software systems engineering or related subjects at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.

  - Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, tools, and methodologies.

  - Experience with hybrid teaching methods and the ability to engage students both online and in-person.


#### Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials for courses in software systems engineering.

- Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance on projects and dissertations.

- Participate in curriculum design and enhancement activities.

- Engage in departmental activities, contributing to the academic community and supporting departmental goals.
